Louis Cacciuttolo is a multidisciplinary creator, composer, filmmaker, and producer, whose career lies at the intersection of art, technology, and immersive experiences. His artistic approach constantly pushes the boundaries of creativity, blending technological innovation with creative expression.
Founder and artistic director of the Théâtre du Minotaure, Louis led this cultural center dedicated to interactive performances and immersive art exhibitions from 1999 to 2020, bridging the gap between reality and imagination through total art experiences.
In 2016, he founded VRROOM, a studio specializing in hybrid artistic events combining virtual reality, augmented reality, and artificial intelligence. The studio quickly became a key player in immersive media, producing pioneering works such as the virtual concert Welcome to the Other Side in collaboration with Jean-Michel Jarre. This event broke records with 75 million views, showcasing his ambition to redefine how audiences experience art in the digital age.
Louis has also collaborated with major labels like Warner Music and Universal Music, and with artists such as Armani White and Maxence, bringing an immersive dimension to hybrid creative projects. Simultaneously, he composes electronic music and performs virtual DJ sets in interactive digital environments, embodying the phygital spirit and the rise of hybrid arts.
As an author, director, and producer, Louis has explored new forms of storytelling through his feature film Cendre, awarded at numerous international festivals. The film reflects his passion for sensory and artistic narratives, where image and sound merge to create a unique immersive experience—free of dialogue and open to audience interpretation.
His career was also shaped by his role as Executive Vice President at THX, the company founded by George Lucas, where he collaborated with major Hollywood studios and international cinema chains, upholding the highest audiovisual standards to ensure directors’ visions were honored from production through to final release.
Recognized as a leading voice in immersive media, Louis is a laureate of the FrenchTech 2030 program and a national member of the Emmy Awards in the Emerging Media category. He regularly speaks at prestigious events such as AWE USA, the Cannes Film Festival, the Venice Biennale, SIGGRAPH, and China Connect Forum.

Originally from the Mediterranean coast of France near the Spanish border, Louis has lived and worked in Taipei, Saigon, Shanghai, Beijing, Hong Kong, San Francisco, Los Angeles, and Paris, and is now based in Casablanca. A graduate of INALCO and Paris-Dauphine University, he speaks fluent Chinese and received formal musical training in piano and composition.
